RYAN BAGLOW

My first memory of Coach Baglow was from our faculty meetings at the beginning of school in 2013-2014. Pastor Armao and I were sitting there minding our own business when a young man we did not know started talking. He was talking about technology and other things that Pastor Armao and I were not exactly up on. Little did I know that Ryan would have such a great impact on Lutheran Baseball.

Ryan became the JV Coach in 2014. He did a really fine job with the JV teams in his three years as the JV coach. In 2017 Ryan became an Assistant Coach with the Varsity team. In the years 2017-2019, Ryan became an integral part of Lutheran Baseball. Ryan played baseball in high school and college,

Concordia Wisconsin (Mequon), and those experiences allowed him to relate very well with all of the players. A big part of Ryan's efforts involved batting practice. By 2017 my shoulder was about shot and Ryan's experience as a pitcher really helped our players as our batting practice pitcher.

Along with Coach Riensche, our coaching staff was on top of its game in these years. I relied on Ryan to do many things in practice and games Another key point was that Ryan readily accepted his role and he was always willing to do what was needed. Ryan brought a positive attitude each day and we worked hard and had fun doing it.

Coach Baglow was the Boys Soccer Coach and led the team to the State Championship game in 2019. He also served as the Freshmen Boys Basketball Coach for several seasons.

Ryan and family now live in Michigan where he is an Athletic Director at a Lutheran high school.
